Common questions

Is hintsy a LinkedIn-authorized tool?
We use LinkedIn official APIs only. Some surfaces (metrics on your own posts, engagement feed) require a LinkedIn partner approval that we are filing. Those surfaces are visible but marked as pending in your dashboard until the approval lands.
Will you scrape or automate anything?
No. hintsy does not scrape, does not operate a browser extension, does not simulate human behavior. Every action is signed by an explicit click. No recurring rules.
What happens to my data when I close the account?
All personal data is erased immediately when you ask or close your account. LinkedIn tokens are revoked. Backups are either excluded or encrypted with a per-tenant key that is destroyed with the account.
Can I try hintsy without a LinkedIn account?
Yes. The demo mode is complete: seeded account, five sample posts, calendar, mock adapters for LinkedIn and the AI model. No external key, nothing sent to LinkedIn.
